Business owners and families alike love being at the crossroads of America, Vandalia, Ohio. Whether going north, south, east, or west, personal or business traveling and transporting goods is easy from Vandalia. Just north of the nation’s largest interstate highways, I-70 & I-75, the city is the home of the Dayton International Airport. Residents gather at the 58,000 sq ft Vandalia Recreation Complete for recreation, leisure, and of course exercise. The focal point of the center is the 27-foot climbing walk and aquatics center. The community also appreciates over 30 community parks within its 11.8 square miles.
Beyond the obvious travel opportunities, many festivals, conventions, home shows are held at the Dayton Airport Expo Center. The most famous Vandalia event is the annual Dayton Air Show. Held at the Dayton International Airport and Expo Center, this event draws thousands to the community and is a favorite of Vandalia's residents.
One of the area's newest attractions that is a huge hit with the kids is Scene 75. The indoor entertainment center features a restaurant, two full-service bars, a snack bar, the largest inflatable area in Ohio, an indoor laser tag, mini-golf, electric go-cart, video arcade, and the largest gaming theater in the county.
Golf lovers will be challenged by Cassel Hills Golf Course. This municipal facility is located in the middle of the Taylorsville Nature Reserve and proves a par-71 course.
